10 Signs WWE WrestleMania 36 Will Be The Worst Ever
7. The Gimmick Matches Sound Ridiculous
WWE has the sense to realise that no one wants to sit and watch match after match in the empty Performance Center, so we're getting gimmick matches along the lines of the Ultimate Deletion and House of Horrors bouts (neither of which were overly successful if we're being honest).
AJ Styles will face The Undertaker in a Boneyard match which the Phenomenal One has since suggested is a Graveyard match with a different name. Chances are this one will take place in a bogus looking studio setting given the current climate, though.
The Fiend, meanwhile, has swapped red lighting for a Firefly Funhouse match involving John Cena, and it sounds like Edge vs. Randy Orton will also be heavy on gimmicks too.
The latter is perhaps the biggest mistake WWE has made, as what should have really been a highly personal confrontation in the ring is now going to probably see the two men battling across the Performance Center in, uh, corridors and parking lots? It doesn't fill us with a lot of confidence, and given WWE's track record, we don't trust them to pull any of these off.
