10 Sleaziest Ever TNA Moments

2. Hiring Pacman Jones

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7Cz4KF4NRE There have been times in TNA's past where they thought that any sort of publicity was good publicity. Case in point was the hiring of Adam "Pacman" Jones. Jones was a pretty well-known NFL player on the Tennessee Titans, before he ran into a bit of trouble with the law. At a strip club, Pacman and rap star Nelly "made it rain" (where they threw a bunch of cash in the air). Allegedly, one of the strippers started picking up the money. This displeased Pacman, and he violently slammed her head into the stage. A fight broke out between security and Pacman's entourage, and a man ended up getting shot and paralyzed. Because of this, the NFL suspended him for a year. Their loss was TNA's gain. At least Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarrett thought so anyway. While suspended, Pacman joined TNA in 2007 with the intent on wreslting. It was a disgusting, and cheap way to get attention. The Titans were none too pleased by this, and forbid their player from getting physically involved in any aspect. Yet, he still won the tag team championship with his partner The Truth. What made his signing more disturbing is that they had him come out on stage and "made it rain" with fake money. In real life, he beat up a woman, which lead to a man never being able to walk again and TNA thought this would help them get ratings. Luckily, there is some justice in the world and their publicity stunt failed...pretty much like every other cheap stunt the company has tried.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
