It feels like WWE fans have been banging the 'give Cesaro a proper push' drum for a lifetime, but sadly all that noise has fallen on deaf ears and the 'Swiss Superman' seems destined to see out his days in the company as a high-level mid-carder.
There was a time when it seemed as though the freak athlete was about to take WWE by storm. He generated passionate responses from his 'Cesaro Section' on a weekly basis before showing off his next-level in-ring ability against the likes of Sami Zayn and John Cena.
However, Vince McMahon wasn't a fan of the way he spoke and found him a little boring, so Cesaro was forced to set up shop further down the card.
If WWE finally realise just how charismatic the star truly is when he's not booked to be a goofy foreign character, they could possibly have another European star on their hands to rival the likes of Drew McIntyre, Sheamus and Becky Lynch.
Sadly, it looks like the company are quite happy to keep throwing him into makeshift tag teams in the hope that he can get other rising WWE stars over.
Speaking of which...
