10 Small Details Wrestling Still Can’t Get Right

3. Wrestlers Waiting A Week To Respond

Wrestling TV is episodic, yes, but that comes with some minor pitfalls.

When Roman Reigns was demanding an explanation for his attempted murders on SmackDown over the summer months, he didn't do much digging when the cameras weren't on. Instead, he was quite content to wait until the blue brand's regularly scheduled hours each Tuesday night before interrogating suspects.

This issue isn't exclusive to Roman. There are countless examples of wrestlers talking about what happened last week like they're powerless to explore it off screen in between one episode and the next. Don't they use those phones they're always shown talking on to kick off backstage promos? It's maddening stuff.

In the real world, situations would develop on other days too. It wouldn't be difficult for WWE to film some stuff for social media or YouTube that furthered angles without wrestlers having to pretend there's some nonsensical restriction governing their investigations or feuds.
