10 Small WWE Character Tweaks That Became DISASTERS!

3. Braun Strowman Gets Bullied By Other Wrestlers

Big Show The Authority Why

Bullying is a sensitive subject, because it's something so many people suffer through at school or work. So, given it's a subject many can relate to, it makes sense that pro wrestling would try to weave it in here or there. That's fine, but not with Braun Strowman! Look, anybody can get bullied regardless of size. That isn't the point here.

This left turn on Braun's character came out of nowhere faster than a Randy Orton RKO.

In 2021, Shane McMahon started calling Strowman "stupid" and claimed his dunce-like behaviour was why so many people took advantage of him. Wait, what? Braun had been a total wrecking ball who destroyed everyone in his path, flipped trucks and more since breaking out as a singles star in 2016. He was anything but bullied.

Strowman didn't help matters by cutting unrealistic promos about how he'd been picked on at school and throughout most of his career. Sorry, but no-one watching could believe that, especially when it came to McMahon laughing at Braun for "getting bullied" by other WWE stars. That just didn't happen. All this achieved was stripping away Strowman's fierce aura.
