10 Spine-Tingling UFC Homecomings

4. Michael Bisping (Manchester, UFC 204)

During his illustrious UFC career, Michael Bisping had the esteemed honour of fighting in front of his hometown city of Manchester three times and he was victorious on all of these occasions.

However, few could argue against the one homecoming in particular that stands above the rest and his UFC Middleweight Championship battle against Dan Henderson at UFC 204 in Manchester surely ranks as a career highlight for 'The Count'.

After being comprehensively knocked out by Henderson in their first fight at UFC 100 and seeing his face subsequently plastered all over KO highlight reels in the interim, Bisping came into this long awaited rematch with a point to prove.

In a mammoth five round championship slugfest the two would beat lumps out of each other for 25 grueling minutes, only for the champ to exorcise the ghosts of his past and have his hand raised for the win in front of his loyal Manchester following due to a unanimous decision.

The sound was deafening, the energy was almost tangible and Bisping managed to earn his last ever UFC victory in front of his own people, which he'd successfully made proud throughout his 40 fight MMA tenure.
