10 Stars That Are Definitely Future WWE Hall Of Famers
7. Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame the second he retires and is no longer working for TNA. Oh its true, its damn true... At present, Kurt Angles health is a serious issue and WWE will probably be unwilling to feature him on TV without first subjecting him to a battery of medical tests. This is because they simply do not want more negative press following the health problems of yet another major wrestling star. Angle, who is reportedly in negotiations with WWE for a return to the company, will also need to leave his job at TNA, because there is simply no way that WWE would induct Angle (who was inducted into TNAs HoF last year) whilst he was visibly employed by their competition. Having said that, his health and his day job are the only two things preventing Angle from being inducted. Provided Angle can prove that he is match fit and ready to go, expect him to return to WWE fairly soon for one last run/matchup and a Hall of Fame induction following his retirement. As the only Olympic Gold Medallist in the history of Professional Wrestling, Angles presence in the HoF lends credibility and credence to the Hall and, indeed, to the sport itself. His years on top of the WWE and his incredible athleticism and charisma would have ensured him a place anyway. Count on it happening, possibly very soon.
I am a professional author and lifelong comic books/pro wrestling fan. I also work as a journalist as well as writing comic books (I also draw), screenplays, stage plays, songs and prose fiction.
I don't generally read or reply to comments here on What Culture (too many trolls!), but if you follow my Twitter (@heyquicksilver), I'll talk to you all day long!
If you are interested in reading more of my stuff, you can find it on http://quicksilverstories.weebly.com/ (my personal site, which has other wrestling/comics/pop culture stuff on it).
I also write for FLiCK http://www.flickonline.co.uk/flicktion, which is the best place to read my fiction work.
Oh yeah - I'm about to become a Dad for the first time, so if my stuff seems more sentimental than usual - blame it on that!
Finally, I sincerely appreciate every single read I get. So if you're reading this, thank you, you've made me feel like Shakespeare for a day! (see what I mean?)
