Unbelievably, Damien Sandow - who once professed to be intellectually superior to the WWE Universe and later began dressing up as celebrities and other superstars en route to amassing a pathetic win/loss record - was one of the most popular stars in WWE earlier this year. It all began in 2014, when The Miz recruited Sandow to be his stunt double. Renamed Damien Mizdow, the former Mr. Money in the Bank began to act out The Miz's moves as Miz performed them. Fans were amused by his new role, and the two soon became WWE Tag Team Champions - and all the while, The Miz became more and more jealous of the reaction Mizdow was getting. It was clear the bearded grappler was ready to break out as a babyface. At WrestleMania XXXI, Mizdow came into his own when eliminated The Miz from the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. The two started feuding, then met in a Raw bout where the winner would get the rights to the Miz brand. Even though Miz was leaving to film a movie, he inexplicably won. Since the loss, Sandow has floundered. He briefly competed as Randy Savage impersonator Macho Mandow, but he's since reverted to his original name and he been featured on TV in a while. WWE decision-makers had a chance to make Sandow a hot babyface, even for a brief period, but they ultimately decided against it.
