The last thing you want when on the cusp of victory is a long-forgotten enemy looking for revenge. It's best to enter a Hell in a Cell match free of other concerns; your hatred should be entirely focussed on the opponent in front of you. You risk being blindsided by a childhood rival otherwise. That's exactly what happened to The Undertaker in the first ever Hell in a Cell match at Badd Blood 1997. Having utterly decimated Shawn Michaels in a brutal encounter, winning looked a certainty for the Deadman. HBK was beaten so badly he even resorted to attacking a cameraman, forcing security to open the Cell door to retrieve him and giving Michaels a chance to escape. He didn't succeed however, instead finding himself locked back inside with a seemingly unbeatable Undertaker. Then, in what must rank as one of the best WWE débuts of all time, the arena was bathed in red light and a gigantic figure stalked down the entrance ramp. The monster we now know as Kane created one of the most striking visuals in Cell history, ripping the door clean off and storming inside to confront his half-brother. A huge tombstone piledriver left Undertaker unconscious on the canvas, allowing Michaels to crawl over and steal a win he really didn't deserve. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgGHNLSw4NE
