Never be too ashamed to ask for a little help. Hell in a Cell matches are notoriously gruelling - it can be a little daunting to enter one alone. That's why it often helps to have a close friend by your side, preferably one with a sledgehammer. Triple H and Shawn Michaels' friendship has been through many rifts, but nobody could argue against them as a formidable force when on the same page. D-Generation X have competed in two Hell in a Cell matches together, winning both encounters against the odds. In 2009 they defeated Legacy, the young upstart team of Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, despite Triple H being locked outside the structure for a large portion of the match. Their more memorable victory, however, came three years earlier at Unforgiven. DX faced off in a handicap match against the team of Vince McMahon, son Shane, and the ever-formidable Big Show. The match proved that the brutality of Hell in a Cell was still alive a good five years after the demise of the Attitude Era, as all six men ended the match bloodied to some degree. The most memorable moment is probably Triple H's thunderous sledgehammer shot to finish off Vince, but Shane's post-match selling is far more unsettling - eyes wide and panicked, blood trickling from his mouth. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIpNge3bSfM
