10 Steps IMPACT Wrestling Must Take Following Slammiversary 2021

9. Keep W. Morrissey Undefeated Until Bound For Glory

Coming into IMPACT at Rebellion, W. Morrissey has been treated with the utmost respect by the higher-ups. He's been positioned as a credible talent in the promotion, something he never once felt as a singles competitor in WWE. Hell, in the 'E, he was only ever Enzo Amore's tall pal.

He's a legitimate star in IMPACT, however, which he's benefitted from by being undefeated since he arrived in the promotion. Rich Swann, Willie Mack, Eddie Edwards, they've all been felled by the seven-footer in reasonably dominative performances. Eddie, for example, was flattened with an apron Chokeslam, before a nasty Powerbomb finished him off. In WWE, though, he was restricted to the pissing Empire Elbow.

Movesets aren't the be all and end all for a wrestler, of course, as there is an abundance of other kinks they must figure out before a successful career in the business can begin. For Morrissey, he's got everything pencilled in; his promos are some of the best in IMPACT, his look describes his character perfectly, and he still maintains that charisma from his Enzo Amore days with added killer instinct.

IMPACT has a genuine future World Champion on their hands, and thus, they need to keep Morrissey's undefeated streak through Bound For Glory. This will only further establish him as a megastar, aiding both himself and the company in the process.
