10 Steps IMPACT Wrestling Must Take Following Slammiversary 2021

4. Put More Emphasis On The Knockouts Tag Team Titles

When IMPACT Wrestling reinstated the Knockouts Tag Team Championships last October, they came at just the right time. In total, the knockouts tag division consisted of:-

Havok and Nevaeh

Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie

Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz

Deonna Purrazzo and Kimber Lee

Kylie Rae and Susie

Even the most cynical of IMPACT critics would be incapable of making a scathing remark towards IMPACT's decision at the time. A few months later, however? Not quite.

For varying reasons, the knockouts doubles division became severely inhibited. Nevaeh turned heel on Havok before departing the promotion altogether, Taya Valkyrie departed, too, as she became Franky Monet in NXT, and Kylie Rae no-showed Bound For Glory before she was soon released from IMPACT in order to work for the NWA.

There have been a few changes since thankfully, with the division now boasting Hogan and Steelz, Rosemary and Havok, and Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering (and perhaps Susan and Kimber Lee, if that's still a thing). The division needs more, though. Why not bring Team SeaStars back in on a full-time basis? Killer Kelly is supposed to be coming back into the fold; pair her up with someone for a bit if you need another team.

IMPACT must shy away from WWE tropes such as reducing the women's tag titles match to the pay-per-view pre-show if they hope to maintain a solid division. It's tremendously simple.
