10 Steps IMPACT Wrestling Must Take Following Slammiversary 2021

3. Have A Crossover With The Elite And Bullet Club

As Slammiversary ended, Jay White confronted Kenny Omega, Don Callis, Doc Gallows, and Karl Anderson as the pay-per-view went off-air. The NEVER Openweight Champion has since been confirmed to appear on this week's IMPACT episode; Slammiversary wasn't a one-off for White.

Now, reports coming out of the latest IMPACT TV tapings state that White recruited a former X Division Champion into Bullet Club while stating the Good Brothers would not be offered a spot in their old group. Therefore, this theoretical booking step seems a tad unlikely.

Why not, though?

Having the members of BC and the Elite seemed inevitable from the moment Omega, Gallows, Anderson, and the Young Bucks all reunited in All Elite Wrestling. The sheer thought of the Guerrillas of Destiny rocking up in AEW to throw up a Too Sweet with their old running partners caused diehard New Japan fans to salivate. What's now fascinating is that such a thing is plausible in IMPACT Wrestling. You know, the promotion that almost went bankrupt a few years ago?

With 'Switchblade' now seemingly in IMPACT for the foreseeable and involved in a programme opposite members of the Elite, the pieces are all falling in the right place. With the Forbidden Door literally knocked off its hinges at Slammiversary, the timing couldn't be better.

So long as they don't...
