The build to Joe versus Neville involves Neville having to defeat Sandow, Axel and Corbin, too. Neville does this, ensuring his one-on-one match at a major NXT show which ends up in a disqualification when Neville's interfered with when headed to the top for a Red Arrow. In the rematch on NXT, the same thing happens again, and Regal then sets up a match where if anyone interferes, they're fired. Neville hits the Red Arrow in this match, but Joe gets up his knees at the last second, and chokes out the injured Neville.
