After Joe defeats Neville, Commissioner Regal gathers Balor, Itami, Cassady, Amore and Breeze in his office and says that he has a surprise. He says that at the forthcoming Survivor Series, that as long as they don't touch the heels for 30 days, he's guaranteed a 5 on 5 Survivor Series match for them where if their team wins, the survivors all have main roster slots open to them. They comply, and the Survivor Series match is a barnburner which sees Cassady and Amore eliminate Sandow and Axel, Tyler Breeze eliminate Baron Corbin, Finn Balor (as "The Demon") eliminate Samoa Joe, but Cesaro is the sole survivor taking out both Balor and Itami. The next week on NXT, Cesaro challenges William Regal to a match because he wants his job because he says he's so good that he needs a "new challenge." Regal says that he's retired, and instead sends out Uhaa Nation to accept the challenge. Uhaa loses, but is impressive in doing so, and gains the respect of the NXT crowd. However, Cesaro is now NXT's Commissioner.
