One month later, in a no holds barred match for the NXT Championship, Samoa Joe -- with the help of Cesaro, Sandow, Axel and Corbin -- defeats a brave, yet eventually overcome Finn Balor. Balor is left injured and in a heap, carted off on a stretcher after the show. Important to this story, he has yet to invoke The Demon in any of the matches against the bad guys. NXT's without a "leader" as the next week, Joe defeats Hideo Itami cleanly. Cesaro has also asserted himself in the "cleaner" role, as he's the guy responsible for ensuring that Joe has no challengers for the championship. However, in walks Neville to Regal's office, and demands a match versus Cesaro. Regal agrees. The next week, Neville outlasts Cesaro, who instead of wrestling Neville in a singles match, offered him versus Cesaro and Baron Corbin. Having defeated both competitors, he now wants Joe.
