Much like Roman Reigns, Sheamus' best matches are always the ones that leave him a battered mess, hair matted down onto his head and pasty-white skin covered in bumps and bruises. At Extreme Rules 2012, Daniel Bryan was the man standing opposite the Celtic Warrior and the man tasked with leaving him in such a state.

In an apparent response to their 18-second debacle at WrestleMania 28, the two put on a fantastic best two-out-of-three falls match at the event with the physicality ramped up. The brutal spots throughout were numerous, whether it was Sheamus giving Bryan a spinebuster onto the barricade, Bryan punting Sheamus' arm repeatedly into oblivion or one particular enziguri from DBry that more than hits the mark.

Bryan was particularly hefty throughout the match, and the lesions and marks left on Sheamus' body at the climax are the proof in this particularly tough pudding.
