http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1a488r_sting-vs-ric-flair-vs-lex-luger-wcw-starrcade-1995_sport A three-way match designed to name a challenger for the WCW world title, Sting challenged Ric Flair and Lex Luger for the right to face champion Randy Savage later in the show. The difference between this match and a standard WWE three-way is that one man was forced to stand on the apron and tag in to participate. All three guys had issues for various reasons: Flair turned on Sting for the 2,742nd time at Halloween Havoc, Luger and Flair hate each other just because, Sting and Luger are best friends but Luger is a scumbag behind Sting's back and constantly uses him. The end result of all of this was a great series of mini-matches where each guy would pair up and have a completely different match than the one before them. Luger was very good in this match, playing his super babyface character when he was matched up against Flair and then morphing into a slimeball heel when he was taking on Sting. Flair was his usual self, yelling things at Sting while he stood on the apron and then tagging him in against Luger just to be a jerk. Eventually, Flair used the best friends against each other. Luger locked Sting in the Torture Rack while the referee was knocked out so Flair used the opportunity to clip his knee. He tossed Luger to the outside and then dumped a half-conscious Sting to the floor as well, earning the win by count out and an eventual win of world title number 12.
