7. Sting & Ricky Steamboat vs. Rick Rude & Steve Austin (Clash Of The Champions XVIII)
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1mpui_steamboat-sting-vs-austin-rude_sport This was an absolute dream match for me personally as I had been huge fans of all four guys for many years. Seeing them all together in a tag match (on free television, no less) was an awesome experience and their performance did not let me down. The match itself was great theater because all four guys are masters of ring psychology. The heels played mind games with the babyfaces first, refusing to lock up a few times, Rude calling on Sting and then backing off, and generally just being spineless jerks. The babyfaces countered by switching off without tagging behind the referees back during a chinlock spot and the heels went absolutely nuts. Sting finally played the face-in-peril role and the heels got some good heat while beating on him. Of course, the hot tag to the Dragon was exactly what the crowd wanted to see and Steamboat even busted out the old-school double noggin-knocker against the heels. All hell broke loose after that with Sting and Austin brawling to the floor and all the way up the entrance ramp while Steamboat and Rude battled in the ring. Austin eventually made his way back and tried to bodyslam Steamboat. Sting came flying off the top rope with a high cross body and knocked Steamboat on top of Austin to end a fantastic tag match.
