3. Bayley Vs. Sasha Banks
There's nothing wrong with a slow-burn wrestling storyline and, indeed, this has recently produced stories as compelling as the Yes Movement and the white hot rivalry between Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa in NXT. The long-running schism between Bayley and Sasha Banks, though, has been a slow-burn that has never been given the opportunity to properly catch fire.
WWE has executed the 'break-up' angle between these two women and their friendship on numerous different occasions, without the rivalry ever heating up. Whether it was at the Royal Rumble or at Elimination Chamber, constant flare-ups never led to this becoming a full blown rivalry. This was initially an interesting feud bubbling away outside of the title picture in the women's division, but WWE has now completely missed the boat in making it an interesting one.
Bayley and Sasha Banks are two of the most talented women currently signed to WWE and they have shown the potential for a great match between them in the past. With the right booking behind them, these two could replicate their iconic bout from NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn in 2015. With what WWE is serving them at the moment, though, this feud is dead on arrival.
