5. Brock Lesnar Only Held WWE Undisputed Title One Day

By 2002, the renamed World Wrestling Entertainment were desperate to start creating some new headliners that could replace some of the departing names and old guard that had served the company so well for years. The Rock was starting to spend more time in Hollywood, Steve Austin's career was winding down, and both Triple H and The Undertaker badly needed some help at the top of the card.

Enter Brock Lesnar, who quickly carved a path for himself as a must-see young star. It was clear the promotion were high on Lesnar, putting him over everyone from Hulk Hogan to Rob Van Dam. It was during that match with RVD that Brock became the 2002 King Of The Ring, securing a slot against The Rock at SummerSlam for the WWE Undisputed Title.

Winning the belt outright, Lesnar was the new face of the company, but he would only actually hold the Undisputed Title in its original form for 24 hours or so. The night after SummerSlam on Raw, it was decreed that the belt was now a Smackdown exclusive, meaning it was renamed the WWE Title. Raw got the World Heavyweight Championship, the title that was handed to Triple H in early-September.
