10 Strangest Ever WWE Royal Rumble Entrants

9. Ricardo Rodriguez

It's difficult not to get behind Ricardo Rodriguez, the long suffering personal ring announcer of Alberto Del Rio. Despite his poor treatment at the hands of his boss, he would always remain professional in his announcing duties. Even when they were booing Del Rio, crowds loved to see Rodriguez €” but few would have anticipated just how his entry into the 2012 Royal Rumble would play out. What made Rodriguez's entry so strange was the way he aped his employers entrance, with one small twist; rather than the luxury cars Del Rio would travel to the ring in, he was reduced to driving a beaten up old banger into the arena. He might not have given the air of opulence that Del Rio often did, but he was met with a very warm response from the crowd. Ricardo only spent two minutes in the Rumble match, but his appearance will likely go down as one of the most memorable moments in his WWE tenure. At any rate, it's certainly the least impressive automobile to ever be used as transport into the battle royal.
