Some eBay seller hawked this way back in 2014. They wanted approx $32 for part of Ric Flair's robe from the very first NWA Starrcade card back in 1983. Yes, for the paltry sum of around 30 bucks, you could own one solitary feather that had been plucked from the showy entrance gear.

WWE themselves covet the robe as an important piece of history. The company has shown Flair's costume off at WrestleMania Axxess before (which was slightly weird, because it had nothing to do with the pay-per-view series or really WWF/WWE at all), and it's usually displayed alongside some of Harley Race's gear from the same event.

Someone out there in internet land owns the tiniest piece of Ric's robe though. It was mounted behind glass on a white plastic background, and came with a wooden plaque commemorating the purchase. Flair could never have guessed that one little strand of material would be so desirable.
