Similarly to Ted DiBiase, Lex Luger had it all, and then some - armed with a better body than 99.9% of the male population, Luger seemed poised to take over from Hulk Hogan in the WWF and become the next top babyface star for a new generation. As is common knowledge now, that didn't exactly go to plan, and whilst Lex was a big name in the early-90's WWF, he couldn't hold a candle to the in-ring work of guys like Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. It's been a long road for Luger, who had to endure a spinal injury and stroke in 2007, dramatically changing his previously-muscled frame, and leading to the man changing his general personality and outlook. In his own words, Luger admits that he was incredibly hard to deal with, and believed a lot of his own hype at a few points during his career, even towards the latter years of WCW. 'Wrestling With The Devil' is a fascinating book, one which explores one man having it all, before seeing it all disappear in an instant, only to reflect on his life up to that point.
