10 Stupidest Reasons Wrestlers Turned Heel

1. Eddie Guerrero - Tajiri Bumped Into His Car

Somehow, the legendary Eddie Guerrero tops the lot.

In 2003, Los Guerreros tag-team momentum was halted when Chavo got injured. That left WWE creative scrambling to find a short-term replacement as Eddie's partner for Judgment Day, and they settled on the often-overlooked Tajiri to fill the slot. Perhaps unsurprisingly given their talent, Tajiri and Eddie established some chemistry quickly and won the Tag-Team Titles.

Their brief union ended less than two months later when Team Angle regained the straps on the 3 July episode of SmackDown. Following the match, Guerrero attacked Tajiri and then condoned his own actions by explaining that his temp partner had accidentally hit his low-rider during one of their matches.

Fans scoffed, and bellowed "No" when Eddie asked if they blamed him for turning. That should've told WWE what everybody else already knew - Guerrero had caught fire as a cheeky scamp babyface, and no amount of accidental car damage from interim tag partners could convince them he was worth booing.
