What the f*ck was all this about?

WWE seemed desperate to break The Hurt Business up for months before they finally got around to it in early-2021, fixing a steely glare on five people who seemed to get along and obviously thinking that nobody in real life could possibly relate.

Those in creative (or, Vince McMahon scribbling over the words from those in creative) don't have friends because working for WWE simply doesn't permit it. Forgetting things such as companionship or human kindness, they forget to include such frivolities in the writing, resulting in every team having their ability to co-exist constantly questioned and every stable falling apart at the seams within weeks of forming.

An aborted first attempt saw Shelton Benjamin chastised by the group for celebrating wins (!), but both Benjamin and Cedric Alexander were both given the boot by Lashley for not following orders when he told them not to help. Then, because this product is mostly a shambles, he had to enlist the help SmackDown guest Baron Corbin get one over on Drew McIntyre after the rest of the locker room had nope'd his request!

All this while holding a WWE Championship he'd destroyed The Miz to win. It made mugs out of all of them, including McIntyre, who lost clean to 'The All-Mighty' in their WrestleMania one-on-one.
