10 Stupidest Things WWE Superstars Have Done In 2021 (So Far)

3. The Fiend Is Distracted By His Own (?) Goo

WWE aren't trying.

They're not trying, they're not trying to such a damning extent that this list could easily be filled with entries entirely based on this exact same finish from about the last month, let alone 2021 as a whole.

You know the one - Wrestler A's theme hits, or Wrestler A does something (almost nothing) on the stage, and Wrestler B is so frozen in confusion and/or contrivance that Wrestler C is able to roll them up/hit their finisher for a quick win. So quick, in fact that the win is considered stolen by the announcers, as Wrestler C celebrates not by going to all four turnbuckles, but by sitting on the floor with a wry smile. Wrestlers A and C are normally babyfaces too, just to make this even worse.

That wasn't a specific problem at WrestleMania 37, because it had long been impossible to discern just who the heroes and villains were between The Fiend, Randy Orton and Alexa Bliss, but Wyatt's darker persona should have been the last one distracted into stasis by the sudden sight of a cross-legged Bliss leaking goo from her head.

He did anyway, and Orton - himself no stranger to the tar after spontaneously coughing it up weeks earlier - dropped him with the RKO for a p*ss easy win.
