10 Successful Mismatched WWE Tag Teams
5. Team Hell No
A strange period in Kane's career, this was. Strange, yet effective.
Embroiled in a feud that also involved then-WWE Champion CM Punk, Kane and Daniel Bryan's rivalry got so heated that then-RAW General Manager AJ Lee had to send the two to anger management classes. Though Dr. Shelby managed to help the duo to "hug it out," the two remained hostile in their formative stages.
Nevertheless, through all their in-fighting, the two were able to capture the Tag Team Championships from Kofi Kingston and R-Truth at 2012's Night of Champions event.
At first, the two would hilariously bicker over which one could call themselves "the Tag Team Champions," turning them from heels to fan favorites over time. The two would rack up several successful title defenses before finally losing them 245 days later to Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules 2013.
Bryan would then develop a more aggressive streak, as he sought to prove he was not the "weak link" of Team Hell No. His increase in intensity resulted in him becoming WWE's hottest babyface, so he split from Kane in mid-June and set his sights on the WWE Championship.
And Kane? Well, he became this.
