4. Kane & X-Pac

Hey, look - it's Kane again!

After losing the WWF Championship in one literal day in 1998, Kane found himself shuffling through the tag team division. He won the WWF Tag Team Championships with Mankind before turning on him and joining up with kayfabe-brother The Undertaker, who would eventually betray him along with Paul Bearer. So, of course, his natural progression was to form a team with X-Pac.

Wait... X-Pac?

Yes, after Kane was thrown out of The Corporation at the end of '98, he got himself a girlfriend (Tori) and formed an alliance with the ever-obnoxious X-Pac. Not only did the two win the Tag Team Championships twice together, but X-Pac actually helped Kane to speak without the assistance of an electrolarynx for the first time in his WWF career. This is likely why it was so heartbreaking when the degenerate X-Pac turned his back on the Big Red Monster shortly before WrestleMania 2000.

Gee, people love to turn on Kane, don't they?

Anyway, while they didn't hold the titles for very long together (69 days across two reigns), Kane & X-Pac remain one of WWE's most memorable incongruous teams.
