10 Superstar Returns That Could Save WWE Payback

2. Brock Lesnar

The one in 21-1 caused one of the biggest legitimate shocks in wrestling history by ending The Undertaker€™s undefeated streak at WrestleMania XXX. Even now, it seems crazy. I€™ll never forget the reaction in the bar I watched Mania at €“ scenes of disbelief, shock and confusion. Surely the referee messed up the count? I stood pinching myself for a while minute, convinced that this couldn€™t ever possibly be real. Those feelings will go with me to the grave. And, in his following absence, manager Paul Heyman goes out of his way to find creative ways of bringing up the victory. It€™s truly marvellous to watch. If the WWE entrusted Lesnar with such a burden, you better believe that he€™s getting pushed to the moon. Expect an eventual WWE World Heavyweight Championship reign, as well as a path of carnage. So when do we see Brock next? It€™s almost certain that he€™ll feature in a Summerslam main event, so maybe Payback is where the seeds are sown. Who€™s his next target? There€™s a lot of mystery and there€™ll be much excitement when Lesnar returns and he€™d almost certainly be the headline coming out of Payback. Only one man would get more people talking....
