10 More Superstars Who Had Better Careers Outside WWE
9. Simon Dean
Simon Dean was a fitness expert who came to the ring on a moped, did push-ups in the ring, and claimed that his patented Simon System would be a great way to help people lose weight. Despite his technical skill and wide variety of maneuvers under his belt, he really didnt accomplish much in WWE. He was, for all intents and purposes, lower card act while in WWE, which was an insult when you look at his accomplishments elsewhere. Michael Bucci competed in ECW under the name Nova/Hollywood Nova/Super Nova. What started off as a single skit in which he was parodying KISS became an overnight sensation, and he soon became a part of one of ECWs funniest stables, the Blue World Order (BWO), and obvious parody of the NWO in WCW. Bucci is known for having used a plethora of different wrestling maneuvers that would otherwise not be seen elsewhere. In WWE, his finishers were a modified Curb Stomp and the Simonizer, which is basically Paiges finisher, the Paige-Turner. However, in ECW, he would perform incredible moves, including his Third Degree finisher, which was, literally, two Piledrivers followed by a Sitout Powerbomb. However, it would be much easier to simply show what he could do instead of writing about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKsXsrbOEMk While his career wasnt as illustrious as other people on this list, he was clearly an underused talent. He had the potential to have great matches with other WWE Superstars, but instead was made to make fun of fat people and behave like Richard Simmons. Well, at least he could cross out being a part of the WWE roster off his bucket list.
