10 Superstars Most Responsible For WWE's New Boom Period

6. Roman Reigns

This is the easiest entry on the list.

Roman Reigns is thee biggest superstar in wrestling. That is in no way hyperbolic. The man operates on a level above everyone else in the industry, and his 1000+ day stranglehold on the top prize in the business has only added to the megastar aura that just oozes from him in buckets.

A decade ago, he was earmarked as the next big star in the business, and it took seven years of complete rejection to get him there. WWE deserve the credit for going all in on his heel turn, as does Paul Heyman for the role he has played, but take nothing away from the man himself.

As the gaslighting, manipulative leader of the Bloodline, he has delivered. As the ferocious, violent and dangerous main event star, he has delivered. And as the dominant WWE Undisputed Universal Champion, he has delivered. Think back to all of the promos or segments of the past year that people have waxed lyrical about, and all of them have revolved around the 'Tribal Chief'.

He lives and breathes the gimmick. So much so, that just snapping his head at Jey Uso's disrespect, or running down Dusty Rhodes to Cody's face, has the fans on their feet. He bellows for acknowledgement.

And the entire WWE universe does so, without hesitation.
