10 Superstars With Pasts They Want You To Forget

2. Lex Luger

Certainly one of the most polarizing figures in recent wrestling history, Lex Luger was blessed with a million dollar body that seemed certain to propel him to superstar status for his entire career. While he did become popular, Lex never did reach the level of a Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, or even a Bret Hart. Luger certainly had a successful wrestling career but his life after the ring has proven to be much less celebrated. Luger had been living with Randy Savage's ex-wife, Elizabeth Hulette in George when he was arrested for domestic violence in April 2003. Elizabeth had visible injuries to her face as well as a bump on her head. Only days later, Luger was again arrested, this time for DUI after plowing into the back of a another car. Luger had a suspended license and no car insurance and seemed like his legal troubles were mounting, but they were about to get a whole lot worse. Elizabeth was found dead on May 1, 2003 in the Georgia home that they shared. An autopsy revealed that she had died of a combination of vodka and painkillers. Meanwhile, Luger was arrested for possession of steroids, Oxycontin, HGH, and testosterone. He was charged with 13 felonies and plead guilty in 2005, receiving a fine and five years of probation.
