10 Superstars With Pasts They Want You To Forget

3. Scott Hall

Scott Hall's problems are very well know but, at least for now, he seems to have cleaned up his act thanks to Dallas Page and his DDP Yoga program. Hall has had a long history of legal and personal issues that have hurt his career despite him being one of the smartest men in the business today. In an ESPN interview, Hall recounted how in 1983 he was charged with second degree murder after shooting a man in an confrontation outside of a nightclub. Hall stated that the man pulled a gun on him and Hall wrestled it way, shooting his attacker in self-defense. In 2011, Hall admitted that he killed the man and that the incident haunts him daily. His problems seemed to mount in the late 1990s, as he was arrest for groping a 56 year old woman in Louisiana and his wife filed for divorce due to his constant drug use. In 2008, Hall was arrested once again, this time for attacked comedian Jimmy Graham after Graham said a wrestler's career "fell faster than Owen Hart" at the roast of the Iron Sheik. Hall's health problems eventually led to a pacemaker and defibrillator being installed in his chest to control seizures but that didn't slow Hall down at all. in April 2011, Hall appeared for Top Rope Promotions and made a public spectacle of himself by appearing obviously intoxicated and barely being able to walk to the ring. After an altercation with his ex-wife and police, even his friends seemed to think Hall was heading to an early grave. Thankfully, Dallas Page made it his mission to rebuild Scott and have him finally retake his life from the drugs and alcohol that had controlled him for so long. Hall was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and seemed to be on the road to total recovery. Recent reports have surfaced that Hall has had "personal issues" once again but Hall has denied those claims. To paraphrase what Hall said at his Hall of Fame induction, bad times don't last but hopefully bad guys do.
