10 Superstars That Will LEAVE WWE In 2022

7. Ricochet

At what point will WWE realise they have made Ricochet's astonishing appeal redundant in record time? And could the same be applied to the man himself when they do?

They're the questions that matter most right now, because it feels as though not even a return to the live audience setting can help 'The One & Only' regain the traction he had as recently as early 2019.

Some extremely old fashioned realities about life in WWE have hit the former NXT North American Champion hard. His stunning physique doesn't seem to matter as he's too short for Vince McMahon's eye-line. His jaw-dropping athletic ability is meaningless because he can't deliver the sh*ttest f*cking promo material in company history with conviction.

Years ago, the obvious joke was that McMahon would style him like Hornswoggle and name him "Rick O'Shea" before releasing him for not getting over. In 2021, Ricochet stole Sheamus' clothes and started wrestling in denim. 2022 may yet complete the gag.
