10 Superstars Who Have Wrestled In The Most WWE PPV Matches
5. The Big Show
PPV Matches = 137 Whilst the 7ft giant has always had to deal with a certain amount of abuse throughout his career for being boring, The Big Show has nonetheless been a key part of WWE pay-per-view events for the last one and a half decades. His debut appearance within the WWE actually came at the St Valentines Day Massacre PPV in 1999 when he shocked everybody by entering through the floor of the ring to interfere on Mr McMahons behalf in his steel cage match with Stone Cold Steve Austin. Its perhaps no surprise given The Big Shows colossal size and his past WCW experience that it didnt take him long to win his first WWE Championship. Survivor Series 1999 was the place where he achieved this when, having already defeated Big Boss Man, Prince Albert, Mideon and Viscera in a 4-on-1 elimination match earlier in the night, he won the title in a triple threat match against Triple H and The Rock. For many people, the best matches of The Big Shows career came in 2002-2003 when he feuded with Brock Lesnar for The Beasts WWE Championship. Once again it was at Survivor Series where Big Show would win his second WWE Championship in 2002 with a victory over Lesnar. However, the matches which really stand out from this feud are the brutal stretcher match between the two at Judgement Day 2003 and an epic triple-threat match later that year at Vengeance, which was won by Kurt Angle. Other pay-per-view highlights for The Big Show have included headlining WrestleMania 2000 in a four-man elimination match against Triple H, The Rock and Mick Foley, and also winning the 30-man André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 31 earlier this year.
