7. Montez Ford
In 2020, Montez Ford, along with his partner Angelo Dawkins, won the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships. By the end of the year, they had traded them with the New Day in a ridiculous angle that surely, they would never return to.
It appeared Ford had found a nice place on the WWE rosters as part of the Street Profits, and he and Dawkins were a highlight on the show. Their backstage promos were full of energy and there is no denying that they have connected with a fan base that can sit on their hands at times.
In 2021, however, it feels like the focus has been put on Ford, and for good reason. Like with the Hardy Boyz, the crowd seem to have gravitated to Ford in the same way they did to Jeff many years ago. Whether Ford has the same type of career, we don't know.
But he has certainly been given more prominence this year, and his main event with Roman Reigns on Smackdown! a few weeks back proved his main event potential.
With one of the most insane Frog Splashes in the game, a great look and natural charisma, Ford has a big future ahead of him. Rumours swirled that management wanted him to fly solo after the draft. His star has certainly been elevated.
