10 Surprises WWE Could Pull At Extreme Rules 2018

4. The Miz Costs Team Hell No

Kane and Daniel Bryan's reunion has been a treat so far, with their palpable onscreen chemistry carrying good written material towards greatness.

The former General Manager has been SmackDown's most consistent performer since returning, and at this stage in Kane's career, straight man in a comedy act is the ideal role. 'The Demon' doesn't work at 51 years old. WWE can no longer paint him as a fearsome monster, but he still has value as a performer, and the past few weeks prove it.

Team Hell No face a mighty task in overturning The Bludgeon Brothers on Sunday. Harper and Rowan have obliterated everyone they've faced so far, with most opponents lucky to last five minutes with the former Wyatt Family members. It hasn't always been exciting to watch, and the gimmick stinks, but they're effective.

If WWE want to keep Kane and Bryan protected on Sunday, having The Miz cost them the SmackDown Tag Titles would be a good shout, and they could use the moment to leap into 'The A-Lister' vs. Bryan for SummerSlam, provided Daniel is actually sticking around.

This would work, but there may be other shenanigans in play...
