10 Surprising Ages Of WWE Superstars
1. Cody Rhodes, 36
♫ ADRENALINE, IN MY SOUL, NUMBER ONE IS CODY RHODES ♫
Yes, unbelievably so, the American Nightmare is only 36 years of age as of this writing. Considering that he made his WWE debut all the way back in July 2007, it's crazy to think that he's younger than the likes of Roman Reigns (by just over a month), Drew McIntyre (by a few days), Baron/Happy Corbin (37), Sami Zayn (37), Kevin Owens (37), and Finn Bálor (40) - all of whom made their debuts for the company after he did.
Given the way the WWE Universe has responded to Cody since his return to the company, this implies that the son-of-a-son-of-a-plumber has ample time to situate himself at the top of the card as many thought he would eventually in his early career. In the meantime, as he waits in the wings for his inevitable Undisputed Universal Championship opportunity, it looks like WWE is slowly building him up by putting him up against former World Champions like The Miz and Seth Rollins.
But, as Cody's legendary father said when he was younger, "hard times breed better men (better men)".
