One common gripe amongst wrestling fans since WWE went kid-friendly again in 2008 has been the declining drama in Hell In A Cell matches. It's been argued that these steel cell bouts desperately need blood to be exciting, but there are others who feel the real stars can create magic without the need for the proverbial 'Crimson Mask'.

At SummerSlam 2008, Edge and The Undertaker were once again locked in battle. The duo had been feuding throughout the bulk of the year, having exciting matches at WrestleMania XXIV, Backlash, Judgment Day and One Night Stand. The latter had been a thunderous TLC match, one not as strictly governed by the 'PG' rules that would come later.

During the August Pay-Per-View however, 'Taker and Edge had to work miracles inside Hell In A Cell, and they managed it under very different circumstances to previous cell encounters. For an example of how well they worked within the confines of their new regime, just look at how the SummerSlam clash matches up against earlier Hell In A Cell bouts such as Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar from No Mercy 2002. Different set of guide lines, but still a tremendously hard-hitting war.
