10 Tag Teams WWE Should Reform
2. Bayley & Sasha Banks
Well it may officially be time (not boss time Michael Cole, calm down) to allow Bayley to reinvent herself. And what better way than to turn heel and align with her former partner?
Bayley has seem a bit stuck after winning the SmackDown Women’s Championship. It could be due to the hot-shot booking of having her win the title the same night she got the briefcase at Money in the Bank. But regardless, Bayley’s momentum is quickly spinning down the drain. And with Charlotte now challenging for her title, this could be the moment she drops the belt.
With Sasha Banks now rejoining the roster, a heel turn could be in the works for the former Hugger. Bayley debuted a beautiful submission against Lacey Evans that could work as an excellent new heel finisher. And Banks is going to need something to do after she inevitably feuds with Becky Lynch.
Bringing the team back together as heels will help Bayley feel legitimate as the “bad guy” too. And maybe they can come up with a better name this time than the The Boss 'n' Hug Connection now that they’re not going to be crowd favorites. Maybe they can turn the sputtering women’s tag division back around with a new rebranded feel? It was supposed to be their project all along anyway, before the IIconics rolled into the picture and nearly sent Banks out of the company.
