10 Tag Teams WWE Should Reform
1. Kings Of Wrestling (Kassius Ohno & Cesaro)
Always have to save the best for last, of course. An ending befitting the royalty that is the Kings of Wrestling.
After tearing up the independent scene both as a pair and separate for so long, the former Chris Hero and the then Claudio Castagnoli seemed to be the exact opposite of what you’d imagine as WWE guys. Both tremendously gifted in-ring performers who seemed destined to build their careers outside of the corporate confines of Connecticut, the pair established their names by winning tag team gold in Chikara, CZW, PWG, JCW, ROH and Pro Wrestling NOAH.
But after Hero finally rejoined WWE as Kassius Ohno after his initial release in 2012, and with Claudio becoming a mainstay as Cesaro in WWE’s tag division during his absence, it seems very fitting to allow the two to reunite on the main roster.
After all, with the legacy Kassius Ohno had in the independent circuit for so many years, he deserves a run just as much as Cesaro on the main card. And that is saying something given how well Cesaro has done in establishing himself in the WWE.
By bringing the two back to their roots, they could unlock the potential of both men allowing them to become a dominant force in a land where dominant tag teams are a dying breed.
And while Cesaro may be out of contention for King of the Ring, his appearance at NXT UK still could lead to a return of the true Kings of Wrestling.
