Whilst they’re not exactly new blood, the return of those damn Dudleys to the WWE is one that immediately increased interest in the tag division and brought a nice dose of nostalgia for those that longed for the Attitude Era and the days where destroying furniture was commonplace.

Like them or not, The Dudley Boyz are often recognised by many as the most decorated and successful tag team of all time. Quite the accolade, no?

Sure, they’re no spring chickens, but so often over the years we’ve seen new stars and boom periods launched thanks to the helping hand of wily veterans. The reappearance of Bubba and D-Von on WWE television brings an instant legitimacy to the current crop of tag teams that might tangle with them, and anyone who works with them will be working with bona fide legends of tag team wrestling.

The Dudley Boyz are in the perfect position to both help the current tag product and yet also help to develop the great teams of tomorrow.
