10 Terrible Booking Decisions From WWE Survivor Series 2016
6. Sheamus & Cesaro Winning The Tag Match
We get that you want Sheamus and Cesaro to be a thing, WWE. We really do. But it isn’t happening. All we can see when they’re in the ring together is how badly Cesaro is being wasted in this lame “reluctant tag partners” gimmick when he should be in the world title picture on either show.
It’s even more infuriating when you have a tag team elimination match to decide which brand has the better tag scene and the last team standing to decide the match for their roster isn’t even actually a tag team. It could’ve been any one of the actual tag teams but instead they gave that push to a duo that won’t be together a few months from now.
What does that say about how WWE views their tag team division when they took a look at all the talented squads that comprised that match – from serious wrestlers to genuinely entertaining comedy acts – and decided that the two singles guys, one of whom is as stale as he can possibly be, should be the sole survivors?
