5. Shane McMahon's Near-Death Experience

One of the reasons why wrestling fans have always reacted so positively to Shane McMahon is because he’s always busted his hump to be viewed as “one of the boys". Never one to shy away from a risk Vince’s son has made his name with some of the scariest stunts the sports entertainment world has ever seen. The Kurt Angle suplex through the glass, the Titantron falls; Shane-O-Mac is the Matt Murdock of the WWE.

That being said, the dude is 46-years old. There’s no reason why he should be actively attempting suicide at this stage of his life. The WrestleMania match with Undertaker was entertaining ONLY because we all expected some spectacle of a stunt – and we got it. But Shane is trying to shorten his life and that’s not smart.

The force of the coast-to-coast into the mid-air spear was enough to knock him senseless, and as he lay on the mat in a crumpled heap staring into blank space, Randy Orton had to break character to reassure his family that he was okay.

Credit where it’s due, it was a hell of a spot, but not something WWE should be doing with guys his age. Especially non-wrestlers.

Which brings me to my next point…
