10 Terrible Managers From WWE's Past
6. Ashley Massaro
Ashley Massaro's WWE career isn't as devoid of highlights as Rosa Mendes', as she did take part in some respectable matches and perform at a WrestleMania and other big PPVs. She also received significant mainstream attention due to her appearances in Playboy and Survivor.
What puts Massaro on this list is her sheer out of place pairing with the team of London and Kendrick. There were some undeniably strange managers at the time with the likes of Shaniqua and Cherry Pie plying their trade on SmackDown, but at least they had a visual or understandable link to their teams. Massaro managing London and Kendrick seemed more about putting the focus on her than the two wrestlers in the ring.
Putting a popular female superstar with a tag team can be very successful, one only need look at Lita and The Hardyz as proof, but the off the wall acrobatic jester gimmick of London and Kendrick simply clashed with Massaro's punk rock aesthetic.
