6. D-Generation X Vs. The McMahons

Most already know that D-Generation X versus McMahons in 2006 was stupid for a number of reasons that probably don't need to be repeated here. But, for anyone who missed it, below is a brief overview.

Firstly, there was the fact that Shawn Michaels' original tag team partner was God himself, who made his WWE pay-per-view debut at Backlash, where he and the Heartbreak Kid were inexplicably defeated by the father-son duo of Vince and Shane.

After that came a summer of nostalgic toilet humour - only without any of the nostalgia. Shawn and Triple H got the band back together for the first time in a decade, but with HBK now a devout believer much of the "edge" that made their original act so popular had been dispensed with.

It wasn't enough to make it all worthwhile, but the Hell in a Cell bout - also featuring Big Show - at Unforgiven 2006 was a pretty good one, particularly when you consider the respective ages of those involved (plus, seeing the chairman get his head rammed up the World's Largest Athlete's ass was pretty fun).
