10 Terrible WWE Royal Rumbles With One INCREDIBLE Moment

7. Naomi Returns (2020)

One of the biggest pops of the night just before pops were no longer a thing for a very, very long time, Naomi's surprise return at the 2020 Royal Rumble was greeted with such remarkable and euphoric warmth that every right-minded fan assumed that a renewed push was a certainty after the fact.

Of course, that proved a frustrating fallacy - WWE did less than nothing of note with the former SmackDown Women's Champion for the better part of a year in the aftermath, but the moment itself was one to savour. Particularly when it felt that something similar could be years away from happening again.

On the night of her return, Naomi went viral. The reaction in the building was so fired up that it galvanised her Twitter superfans in a such a way that it was the biggest takeaway from the entire event with the exception of Edge's shocking return later on the show. In the lowest ebbs of the lockdowns to follow, the glorious footage survived as a beacon of what to cling on to when the worst was over.
