10 Terrifying Wrestling Bumps You've Totally Forgotten

2. X-Pac Gets His Broncos Busted

The example above finds Jeff Jarrett driving his boot into the babyface X-Pac's b*llocks in something that looks like it needs a narrator talking over the freeze frame about us wondering how he got into that mess in the first place.

In reality, this was a sublime counter to the move regardless of if Sean Waltman was working his gimmick as lionhearted babyface or infuriatingly dated heel.

As Syxx, Waltman brought the Bronco Buster to life as an nWo sh*thouse tactic, but his innate likability as a member of 1998's then-beloved version of D-Generation X turned the move into something more euphoric. Something so silly had become so over that fans would buy a ticket to see it, so heels cutting it off in this frightening fashion was rare and brutal. Conversely, the last thing anybody wanted to see Steve Austin or The Rock take was something so demeaning. When they stuck the boot in, the roof came off.

Another one in the eye of the greedy drunken jock crowds of the era, then. X-Pac doesn't suck and he never did.
