2. The Undertakers Celebrates 25 Years
These days, it's unthinkable that an act could exist for 25 full years in pro wrestling. Things move so quickly in the modern era that characters are lucky to go unchanged for a full 12 months, let alone a quarter century. In truth, WWE stretched the idea of an '25 Years Of Undertaker' celebration a little in November. It'd be inaccurate to say 'The Deadman' never changed during his career. At the turn of the millennium, 'Taker was known as the 'American Bad Ass'. Fans were told that he had a wife, and enjoyed a life away from the wrestling industry. In 2004, he reverted to playing the classic Undertaker character people had come to know and love. Regardless of that fact however, The Undertaker is one gimmick which deserves to be applauded for changing with the times and staying relevant. The whole marketing plan for Survivor Series was built around a 25 year anniversary celebration for The Undertaker. If 2016 is to be the year he is inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame, or retiring from the ring for good, the 2015 celebration will feel more meaningful. What a milestone for Undertaker to reach, it may never happen again for any other character.
